This machine has only two (2) controls - OFF/ON, and Forward/Reverse. Both are operated on 50A switches - neither will ever fail. See pictures. There are no control boards, safety switches, control panels - nothing. You will need to monitor the bin for being full. It will not sense a jam and backup. It will not automatically start. The drive system will never fail, and now - neither will the controls. You will need to oil the machine regularly, but other than that - there is simply NOTHING to fail. It should last forever. It is still backed by our warranty, and there is a wiring diagram that any electrician can understand, if it is needed. AUTO OILER OPTION - can be added - already pre-configured for oiler-has wick and connections - senses load and delivers oil to demand (shown). Also has ability to adjust rate. This is an advanced German designed and made microshred machine. The shredder cutter block was examined in our factory dealer shop and certified to meet a security audit - meaning there are zero broken teeth or strippers and 100% of all paper passed through will comply with the NSA 02-01 spec for Level P-7. It will be impossible for any shreds to be reconstructed. We ran several hundred pages through it after going through our shop, with no issues whatsoever. The machine was load tested and found to pass the spec 16 sheets per pass - constantly. The machine was fully cleaned and lubed. All drivetrain components checked for wear. The mill and all components performing per oem specification. The case will show some blemishes consistent with use of a machine of this type and we have pictured those blemishes. The Intimus 702 SF is an NSA approved high security shredder that will meet all of your office’s document protection needs, as well as provide reliable and powerful performance.
